1. The service
Anatomy ICD-10 ("the Service") is an interactive 3D anatomical atlas and clinical classification reference operated by Advanced Management Solutions ("AMS", "we"). The Service maps anatomical structures to ICD-10 codes through published biomedical ontologies and presents coding guidance derived from recognised standards.
2. Not medical advice
The Service is an educational and coding-support tool. It does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a medical device. Code suggestions are informational and must be reviewed by a qualified health information professional before being entered into a patient record, an abstract, or a claim. AMS accepts no responsibility for coding, billing or reporting decisions made using the Service.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may sign in with email and password or with a supported third-party identity provider. Accounts are for named individuals; sharing credentials is not permitted.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit personal health information or any identifiable patient data to the Service;
- scrape, bulk-export or redistribute the crosswalk data except as permitted by your plan;
- attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits or plan entitlements;
- use the Service to build a competing classification product; or
- use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law or third-party terminology licences.
5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial-period refunds are issued unless required by law. Prices may change on 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.
6. Third-party data and terminologies
The Service references the Foundational Model of Anatomy, SNOMED CT, WHO ICD-10 and derivative national modifications, and coding standards published by the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Each of these is owned by its respective rights holder and governed by its own licence. Your use of the Service does not grant you a licence to any of them. Where your jurisdiction or organisation requires a SNOMED CT affiliate licence, obtaining it remains your responsibility.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upstream terminology-service outages and events outside our control may interrupt access.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, interface and original editorial content are owned by AMS. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost revenue, lost data or reimbursement denials arising from use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time; we will delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
